It’s been so long since I was a recruiter that I wouldn’t even be able to answer that question. I CAN say that the Marine Corps is reducing their numbers right now so there won’t be as many allocations for MOS”s as there used to be. Every October 1st the new MOS slots are released to the recruiting offices so your best bet is to chat with them. KILL!!!

I heard that you have to apply to OCS within one year of graduating college.. Is that true?

No. There’s an age limit for certain MOS’s but there’s nothing that I know of that says you must apply within one year.
